Advocacy and press : institutional framework

Belgium’s political framework is very complex and the family planning sector has to be represented at several levels. Here is a brief presentation of these levels and of the ministries with which we collaborate either directly or indirectly.

At the federal level

For the French-speaking communities of Brussels and Wallony and for the Dutch and German-speaking communities.
  • Ministry of Health and Social Security. Current minister : Rudy Demotte, PS (ex* : Vandenbroucke).

  • Ministère de l’action sociale et de la famille (Minister of social action and family). Junior minister : Emir Kir, PS (ex = Alain Hutchinson)
