Represent the family planning centres.

In Belgium, the actions of the family planning sector have contributed to the rising of major social and political changes : free access to contraceptives, legalisation of abortion, expansion of sexual and affective education.
 
FLCPF’s action aims to protect the acquired progress, extend them to other spheres of activity and to promote quality and specificity of work within the family planning centres.
 
  • The FLCPF shows its stance to the Belgian political authorities and represents the family planning centres at every level of power : the Federal state, the French-speaking Community of Belgium and the regional authorities of Brussels and Wallony.
  • The FLCPF represents the sector in the French Consultative Council of Brussels and in the Wallony Accompaniment Commitee. It also takes part in various commitees for the guidance and the accompaniment of projects carried out by the authorities.
  • The FLCPF represents the family planning centres in health and social sector institutions, collaborates with such institutions and shares with them its expertise based on the experience and professionalism of the 42 affiliated centres. 
  • The FLCPF tries to make the public become sensitive and to communicate with the popular mass through the medias and by organizing information campains and thematic events.
